Joe Vasquez
Joe has been providing his body building expertise at Southern Athletic for over 3 years.  Inspired by a good friend, he decided to become a personal fitness trainer.  Joe is skilled on all styles of personal training but, prefers body building.  Joe believes the best approach to exercising is to start slow, make it fun and never quit
 

 

Charissa Nguyen

Charissa brings over 11 years of personal training experience to Southern Athletic Club.  Charissa’s inspiration to be a trainer came after she joined SAC as a member. The knowledge the trainers had inspired Charissa to get certified.  She helps clients find their own style of fitness training and encourages them to take their time and do things in moderation.

 

 

Junior Henry

Junior joined Southern Athletic Club over a year ago after being inspired by other trainers at SAC. Junior's passion to help people has encouraged Southern Athletic clients to get on a path to wellness. Junior's philosophy is to not overdo it, keep motivated because anything is possible.
  

Chris Groff

 

For Chris, training is a large part of his life.   Chris’ goal is to help people lose weight and build muscle in a fun way. Chris focuses on weight training to lose fat and nutrition to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Chris feels people new to working out should start slow and work your way into a routine that fits you. 

 

 

Chris Nappa

 

 

Chris recently joined the Southern Athletic Club staff.  A graduate of Heritage College with an Associates’ Degree in Occupational Studies of Personal Training, Chris has been doing personal fitness training for six years.  Chris believes fitness training should help people improve their self confidence and overall health.

 

 

Freddy Franklin

 

Freddy believes in doing things you love.  His love for physical fitness brought him to Southern Athletic Club in early 2008.  Freddy helps SAC members with weight loss and toning.  Freddy’s advice is to be consistent and work out even if you don’t feel like it because it will pay off in the long run.

 

 

Misty Pigeon

 

Misty joined Southern Athletic Club after completing her training at Heritage College.  Misty focuses on freestyle and resistance training. With a love to help people be the best they can be, Misty believes in setting small, reachable goals at a time to help keep people motivated.

 

 

Matt Calvert

Matt Calvert is nearing his one year anniversary at Southern Athletic Club.  Matt began his career as an athletic trainer to help people reach their fitness goals. Matt helps Southern Athletic Club members to building muscle and to tone.  He believes clients should pace themselves and to stay confident, the results will come.

 
 

Toryonno Jones

Toryonno Jones is one of the newest members to the Southern Athletic Club training team.  Tory began training clients because of the satisfaction of seeing the progress his clients make each time. Tory focuses primarily on toning and muscle building. Jones recommends people don’t try to rush into a workout routine, be motivated and be patient.
